The Hawkeye Norcross Digital Handheld Sonar Depth Finder - Another Great Electronic Device For Fishing From Your Kayak or Boat
In a prior product review I told you about another HawkEye product that I am passionate about, the HawkEye F33P Portable Handheld Fish Finder. Today I am going to tell you about the HawkEye Portable Handheld Depth Finder.
The Handheld HawkEye Sonar System PX is a portable depth finder that gives you instant depth readings from from two to two hundred feet. The Sonar System PX is great for identifying likely fish hangouts. For example, if I am fishing for shark in California than I am going to look for a steep drop-offs because I know that sharks often congregate in such areas.
Another great feature of the HawkEye Sonar Depth Finder is the fact that the device gives you instant water and air temperature readings. Water temperature readings can be crucial. For example, if you're fishing Lake Michigan, temperature readings are key to finding your target species because different species of fish prefer different temperature ranges. Temperature is also important in determining when the spawn will occur when fishing for species such as the largemouth bass.
The HawkEye Depthfinder is waterproof and has a two year limited warranty. The LCD has a backlight which is perfect for fishing at night.
