My Experience with Exped DownMat Seven Pump Sleeping Pads - Stay Comfortable on Your Fishing Trips
Almost as important to me as my Marmot Aeros 3P Tent is my Exped DownMat 7 Pump Sleeping Pad . Both keep me comfortable and warm on my camping/ fishing trips.
I used to have a foam sleeping pad and the difference between it and my Exped Down-Mat 7 Pump Inflatable Sleeping Pad is day and night. One huge difference is that you are separated from the ground by a cushion of air. This means that if the ground is really cold that you don't get really cold, and that if the ground is really warm than you don't get really warm. The moderating affect that the sleeping pad has on the temperature is absolutely phenomenal.
I also do a lot of camping on rocky terrain on my backpacking trips, but it doesn't even matter when I am sleeping on my Exped Down Mat Inflatable Pad. I never feel anything through the sleeping pad. I sleep well and don't strain my back on this pad. I am truly comfortable.
