Bass Pro Shops Double Dipped Bleeding Tubes - A Killer Bass Fishing Bait
Bleeding tubes are my favorite bass fishing bait. Especially during the spawn, fishing double dipped tubes is one of my favorite largemouth bass fishing techniques.
You can fish the tubes weedless or with an exposed hook. I like to fish the tubes with Bite-Me Tube Heads which give you a nice exposed hook and some weight. I have tried fishing the bleeding tubes weedless but I have noticed that I am much more likely to jerk the bait out of the fish's mouth when I don't have an exposed hook. Sure... I am more likely to get hung up on weeds or other underwater debris when I am fishing an exposed hook but I would rather deal with some of that and land more fish that hit my bait.
The tubes are available in a bunch of different colors. I typically fish light green. Bleeding tubes are available online at Bass Pro Shops.
