7/9/09 All quiet on the SW front. Wind SSE light to fresh and overcast with heavy rain this evening, amount of rainfall 8.6mm, max air temperature 16.2c. 8/9/09 Made another big flood this morning, but once the rain went through there was just one or two heavy showers. In the Game fishing department just the odd Seatrout caught. Wind WNW light to fresh. Amount of rainfall 17.5mm, max air temperature 17.4c. 9/9/09 Bright sunshine all day, with very light winds from the NE, and no reports of any big catches, but to be fair to my Noble Fly Fisher, He or She were up against the elements, all I can say is, we anglers always have a good excuse, ether, there is to much rain or its to bright or there is not enough wind, max air temperature 16.2c. 10/9/09 The same as yesterday in all departments, even though I am sure the odd sea Trout were caught, even though there wasn't any reports of any big rod benders. Wind easterly, light to calm, max air temperature 19.9c. 11/9/09 again my noble game fish were in a lethargic mood and my Noble Anglers were just as lethargic as the fish. Again bright sunshine with a light easterly wind, max air temperature 21.2c. 12/9/09 All quiet on the SW front, and with little to no wind and bright sunshine, what does one expect, Wind light to calm ESE, max air temperature 21.4c. 13/9/09 What can I write, well put it this way, not a lot, because again today we anglers were fishing in bright sunshine and hardly a breath of wind and what wind was there was coming from the WNW and if any angler did procure her ladyship or my Noble gentlemen on Lough Currane all I can say is fair play to them, but the same couldn't be said for the famous Butler Pool and of www.watervillegolflinks.ie because a client fishing with his Gillie Mr Michael O'Sullivan of Waterville Boats and @ lobsterb@iol.ie caught a fine grilse, a good note to end this weeks report. Max air temperature 18.8c. That is your ration for this week, from your Gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin No Fly's just Facts
