Owner Rig'N Hook Bass Fishing Hooks Review Author: Chuck Elliott Looking for a bass fishing hook that is "sticky sharp"? Owner has the goods. The Owner Rig 'N Bass Hook is a great all-around hook for bass fishing. It's designed for rigging plastic worms weedless when Texas Rigging, Carolina Rigging, Florida Rigging, drop shotting, split shotting. Just about any type of weedless rigging you can think of, the Rig-N-Hook is the hook for it.
The number one feature of the Owner Rig'N Hook is the unique cutting point, which requires less pressure to penetrate than an ordinary hook. This means when that fish hits your Carolina rig on the end of a 50-yard cast, you'll still be able to get a hook in the fish. This is also the reason that I make sure to give all the novice anglers who fish with me, that may not have a really good hookset, a handful of Rig-N-Hooks before we leave the dock. A lot of times, you don't even need to set the hook! Just put steady pressure on the fish, and the cutting point does the work. The Rig-N-Hook is made of tempered steel, which is very strong and tough. I recommend Owner hooks when going after trophy bass, because they WILL NOT BEND! The Owner Rig-N-Hook has a Z bend at the eye, which firmly holds your plastic in place, even through the thickest cover. It also has a deep throat, which results in better hook-ups with larger fish. And you gotta love that! If you need an all-around hook for your plastics, the Owner Rig-N-Hook will get the job done with no questions asked! The hooks are available online at www.BassPro.com . Chuck's Tips: Try to match the size of your hook to your technique. For example, use a big hook for flipping and pitching, where you have to put more pressure on the fish to get them out of cover. Use a smaller hook for fishing something like a split shot in open water. The smaller hook will be easier to set, and you won't need to put much pressure on the fish. About Chuck:
