The Lamson Velocity Reel is has a hard alox finish for maximum durability. The reel comes with an extremely effective drag system that is more advanced than other similar priced reels. The reel is available in reel weights from 3 to 10. If you're going to be fly fishing for trout in small mountain streams than I would go with the three weight. You'll have a lot of fun battling little mountain trout on light tackle. If you're going to be fly fishing larger rivers than I would go with the five weight. The five weight Lamson Velocity Reel can handle 20 plus inch fish on light tippet. If you're going to be bass fishing than go with the 7.
