When I first started fly fishing fifteen years ago, there were two choices when it came to gear: high-end and crap. The mid-priced fly fishing product market was still in its infancy. About a year ago I was searching for a decent rig for tackling some large, Western rivers during the summer. This was my first attempt at closely matching my gear with specific fishing conditions.
