A short trip handled by teamlempayun as the team members couldn't pay a whole day casting due to family matters in the evening. This trip had been arranged just to get the response of those predators after the long monsoon since last year. Trolling close to the riverbank is a method to detect the predator's bungalow as we have no any fish finder to do the job. So, the journey to the spot was filled with lure trolled behind the boat. Unfortunately, there was no strike along the way to the fishing spot. Casting was the main technique as we brought along many types of lures. They were diver, minnow, popper, spinner, spoon and pencil bait. Here, we focused more on crankbait. After a few cast, Tay' lure grabbed suddenly. He had given no chance to the predator to escape. A few minutes later, it was landed. A nice Mangrove Jack released after a few shot. Still at the same spot, Juan's lure grabbed harder and the rod bent without mercy. He put more stressed on his drag and the predator's run controlled after a hard fought. Then, a nice Mangrove Jack landed as it was 200 grams more on weight than the first Mangrove Jack. The trophy had landed at last after a memorable fought. Initially, there was no hope for any big predator. But, it was coming on the way to the boat's jetty, My Surecatch lure suddenly grabbed by predator. It was a lightening run to the open room. Luckily, there was no snags around. The fish managed wisely until it came to its end. It netted quickly into the boat. A nice Barramundi after the monsoon ended was also the fishing trip trophy for the day.For more pictures, please visit www.teamlempayun.blogspot.com
