22/3/10 Good news to all you fly only enthusiasts Mr. Tom Duggan of Kilkenny, caught the first Salmon on the fly at the Morgan Rock with his Gillie Mr Dominic Mc Gillicudy. Wind SW light, with reasonable cloud cover, amount of rain in the last 24 hours 8.6mm, max air temperature 11.3c. 23/3/10 All quiet on all fronts. Wind S and overcast all day with light rain throughout the day. Amount of rainfall 4.3mm, max air temperature 10.6c. 24/3/10 Just one or two boats out, and all failed in their duties to Procure Her ladyship or His royal Highness the Salmon. Wind SW then veered S and variable, amount of rainfall 2.7mm. 25/3/10 All quiet on the SW front and with nice Water coming down the Commeragh, that should liven up my Noble Salmon in the coming days. Wind SSE light and overcast with light showers throughout the day, amount of rainfall 9.0mm, max air temperature 12.7c. 26/3/10 Mr. Dan Sugrue of Tralee and Waterville and his Gillie Mr. Brod O'Sullivan of Stella Maris guesthouse Waterville were the toast of Lough Currane when they caught a fine Salmon on the troll. Wind ESE light then veered NNE late this evening, amount of rainfall 0.3mm, max air temperature 14.5c. 27/3/10 They say you can't keep a good fishermen don well today was a perfect example of that when Mr. Dan Sugrue, caught his second Salmon on the trot and his third this season with his Gillie Mr. Brod O'Sullivan of Stella Maris Guesthouse Waterville, and for the rest of we anglers no comment and as one Gillie said some have it some don't. Wind W light and variable with reasonable cloud cover with the odd light shower, amount of rainfall 1.8mm, max air temperature 11.6c. 28/3/10 There were a few good boats out and all failed miserably in their duties in Procuring my noble salmon. Wind ENE light to calm and overcast with light rain in the afternoon and evening and still raining, amount of rainfall 12.4mm, max air temperature 11.2c. That is your ration for this week form your gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin no Fly's just Facts
