When you are out on water winter steelhead fishing or whatever it may be and your rod guides start freezing up there are a couple things that you can do to keep this from happening: 1. Get one of the commercial sprays that keep ice from forming on your windshield and apply that thoroughly over the rod guides. 2. Rub candlewax all over your rod guides. 3. Spray down your rod guides with Pam cooking spray. Best of luck to you in your winter fishing. Make sure to post pictures of any fish you catch.
