Salmon report from the Waterville Fishery
15/2/10 The Lobster Bar Fish of the day goes to Mr. Sean Brain and of www.kbfishingireland.co.uk and his good friend Barry because they caught a fine 10 lbs on the troll. Wind NW light to fresh with showers throughout the day, amount of rainfall 1.6mm, max air temperature 9.2c. 16/2/10 All quiet on the SW front be it fly or troll. Wind NW light to fresh with the odd shower, amount of rainfall 2.8mm, max air temperature 8.2c. 17/2/10 Again not a lot to be said on the fishing front so here is your weather report for today, wind NE light with reasonable cloud cover, max air temperature 7.2c. 18/2/10 Just the one or two boats out and all failed in their duties. Wind NNE light with the odd light shower, amount of rain fall 0.5mm, max air temperature 7.3c. 19/2/10 Rain, Sleet and Snow and no takers, wind NNE light with a few showers some light and heavy, amount of rainfall 5.8mm, max air temperature 6.3c. 20/2/10 just three boats out and all failed miserably in their duties in catching Her Ladyship the Salmon. On the Weather front there was a mixture of sleet. Snow and rain, amount of rainfall 3.0mm, wind first thing NE then veered SE then veered again into the SW and veered back SSE light to calm in all directions, max air temperature 6.0c. 21/2/10 There were a few more boats manipulating their bates but sadly my Noble gentlemen weren't in a taking mood. Wind SW light to calm and sunny, max air temperature 7.7c.
