I live in the Skagit Valley of Washington State. We have awesome fishing here. Largemouth Bass, Trout, Perch, Catfish, Crappie, Bluegill, and Salmon.
I have lakes all around me, so I never have to drive over 10 miles to go fishing. I also have the Skagit River within a mile of me.
Right now we are having an Awesome run of Pink Salmon and Coho Salmon coming up the Skagit, so I am spending a minimum of 10 hours per day, 3 days a week out fishing. I mainly practice catch and release, but I do keep a limit of 4 Salmon per day for family food use.
Keep your rod up, the tip bent and a tight line!
