Thumbs down tourny co-angler etiquette?

I am looking forward to my first tournament in 2 weeks as a co-angler at Grand Lake Oklahoma. Its the BFL and although its not the pro-tour, I imagine there are some things that piss the boaters off. For example, what if i get caught in an underwater tree, or on some rocks along the shore after too far of a cast. I would hope that most of the boaters would be cool enough to know its my first time and remember that they were there once. Anything i should keep in mind out of respect for the boat/boater?
