Default What\\\'s the strangest thing that you have ever found/ come across while fishing?

For me -

I was saltwater fly fishing in Cabo San Lucas. We came across these two big floating bags in the middle of the ocean. The guide gaffs one of the bags and pulls it onto the the boat and it is a 50 pound bag of marijuana! Someone must have dumped it for some reason - maybe they saw the coast guard coming or something. We threw the bag back. I told some of my lazy pothead friends about this and I got chewed out for leaving the bags behind. Apparently two 50 pound bags are incredibly valuable. I will never find anything worth that much money again I am sure.

Heading back to the ramp when we saw this guy running along the shore... he jumped into the water and started swimming accross the lake (about 100 yards) The Cops in hot foot persuit.

Went over and picked one of the Cops and headed after the swimmer. He only made it about 1/2 way and started screaming for help. When he grabbed the side of the boat... the Cop hand cuffed him to a cleat.
That\'s the biggest \"fish\" we\'ve ever landed from this lake. He was so big infact, we couldn\'t haul him into the boat. Had to drag him over to the shore to land him.

The \"Fish Story\" even made the evening news.
