Actually my friend, there was No Fight in this fish. She was hooked so deep in her throat cavity that by the time I reeled her to the boat and laid her on the floor she was Dead. She bled to death on the way into the boat.

Normally Coho Salmon are a Wild and Fighting Fish! The jump out of the water like they have rockets tied to their bodies. They make Long and Fast runs up and down the river and they are masters in the art of escape!

They are indeed a wonderful adversary!
