Default 5/20 OB Alabama report

The plan was to make a good run to the sw and try to get some grouper and hoos and snapper fish back home. We made a couple of stops on the way to break up the long run and we already had a limit of snapper(guess the snapper bite is back on). Supposed to get rougher the further we went so we didnt get to our ultimate destination. Sea conditions and strong currents made the deep water fishing tough, picked up a decent scamp and some nice snapper and a big cow dolphin. This was my first trip with kids aboard, I was a little nervous but they did great and I got me a future deck hand out of this trip. By the end of the day 11 yr old Abe was watchin the bottom machine and telling everybody when to drop and how deep they were. When the bottom machine would light up Abe would lean around the console and yell "here they come boys 20' up!". Watching kids catch fish is awsome. I really had fun on this trip!
