Took the kayak to the keys.. The wind blew 25 to 30 the whole freaking week... From what I hear it is still blowing...I could not even entertain the idea of renting a boat for a single day while down there.. It was that bad.
I sat on the dock and my Kayak sat on the shore.. It really sucked.

Well. I tried to make the best of it...Considering I had to cast into a very strong wind I did rather well from the dock.. However I can fish from a dock anywhere and it was not how I wanted to spend my time.
The final score was

4 Nurse sharks
The largest being around 7ft

5 cudas (They make for great bait and chum)

1 Goliath.. Why he was in the grass flats I have no idea

several bonnet head sharks

Hundred or so Mangrove snapper.. Only 20 were legal

One giant stingray

Hundreds of pin fish. I gladly used them for bait.. However casting them into the wind was rough..

I also had atleast a dozzen or so runs on critters I just could not stop...They just chewed thru my wire or snapped the main line.
