Default Thanks to the new moderator

Wayne ... thanks for the re-invite ... havent had a chance to get over to the pire for a while, but with thing starting to get a little more active, I\'ll have to start. Did stop by the City Pier on Anna Maria today and saw some nice Spanish taken on shrimp. One I observed was a dandy .. so my guess we should see some activity soom. Weather hasn\'t been the best with the last cold front we has and was suprised with the recent cold front and wind they were hitting like they were ... anyway. Thanks for taking the slot and welcome you comments ... Later, Bob

Default Thank for the Info

Thanks again for the update ... just got back down to Bradenton on 8/1/09 ... had to get back, the weather was real bad up north in NY State. That said ... hows the fishing going on the long peir ... whats running. I was out to the City Peir and the place was covered with bait. Catching some Spanish Mac\'s. They were using cut bait and it nice being back. So ... is anything being done with the long peir or is it still shut down to one lane, bummer if it is. Would appreciate some current run info and bait being used ... later, Bob
