This is one of the many farmed salmon that turn up in the rivers and streams of southwest Ireland every year....while many of these fish are sterile, some are not and there is a high possibility that interbreeding at spawning time would damage the native stock....apart from that these salmon are ready takers and hard fighters so hooking one can give good sport!
